Instructor: Lisa Elias What if you could make your own paint from things found in your kitchen or backyard? In Nature's Paint Box, participants will become "paint scientists" and explore how everyday natural materials can be transformed into colourful art materials. Participants will learn about colour while having the opportunity to experiment with making pigments from ingredients that can be found around home such as turmeric, beetroot, coffee, tea, charcoal, spinach, and red cabbage. Once you’ve created your own paints, it’s time to make some artwork with them! 2 Saturdays, November 14 and 28 1:00-2:30pm
