About this Course

Instructor: Lisa Elias Bugs are weird, fascinating, colourful, and surprisingly fun to draw! Drawing Bugs! introduces young artists to observational drawing through insects and other tiny creatures. Participants will learn how to break complicated subjects into simple shapes before adding details, texture, patterns, and personality. The class will combine observation with imagination, allowing students to create both realistic drawings and their own unusual bug-inspired characters. Participants will leave with a collection of insect drawings and a final illustrated "bug page" featuring their own creature. 4 Sundays, November 8 - 29 10:00-11:30am
